The hand records from the British Skat Association's April event are now
available at http://www.weddslist.com/skat/results/nf01/hands.xls,
thanks to Patrick Phair.

He points out several remarkable features of this set of hands:

There were nine hands on which a player could have been with 4, but on
one of these (session 2, hand 23) the hand was unbiddable so nobody
noticed.  The total of nine is three times the expected number and will
occur at random once in 353 tournaments.
There were three consecutive hands with 4, being hands 1, 2 and 3 of
session 3.
One of these nine hands was the only completely flat hand in the
whole tournament.  On session 2 hand 17 all six declarers made Grand
with Schneider for +144.

In contrast session 3 hand 15 was declared twice from each seat, which
must be unusual.

On session 2 hand 7 a player bid, and made, a contract against five.
[That player was also recorder for the table, and misrecorded the result
as against four; Patrick politely did not comment on this.) This is
the first against-5 in all the tournaments he has recorded.
