It was a very close contest which went right to the wire yesterday at the YMCA.

Five of us played 7 rounds in all.

Making any contract would have been enough for Amina to emerge victorious, but it was not to be as she went off in Grand in the very last hand.  There were only 41 points between first and third, with Mark coming just ahead of me to wrest the trophy from last month’s champion Paul, who came in third.
