[casual_games] Virtual mini conferences

I'd suggest that the first issue of those who would like to see this become a reality would be to find the most suitable venue for it. The first step in doing so would be to analyze the idea further in terms of goals, size, etc.
 
Notice that the original idea didn't tie the setting of a virtual conference to Second Life. I mentioned it as an option so people could better understand what I was trying to say. I do feel, however, that Second Life would be well suited for this since it is well known, it has hosted similar events before and, frankly, it's a lot of fun (and that's what we're all about people ;-)

I was thinking more along the lines of Habbo Hotel, rather than IRC.

The only point of getting press is to attract more people, right?
