[casual_games] How Can the IGDA be more Effective?

Hi everyone, I'm running for the IGDA Board of Directors and I'm trying to
get a feeling for what the value of the IGDA is right now, and what it
should (or could) be. I'm curious about the people on this list, as we have
such a diversity here -- from those just starting up their own companies to
those who have been at large corporations for years. We also have writers,
journalists, and academics. I'm very curious to hear your thoughts.

If you're a member of the IGDA, why did you become a member? What do you
think are the most important things the IGDA can do right now?

If you're not a member, why not? What could that IGDA do or offer that would
encourage you to join?
