[game_edu] DEADLINE: GDC08 Scholarship application deadline is Friday, December 7th

Hi all,

The deadline to enter the IGDA's Student Scholarship Program for 
GDC08 is this Friday, December 7th. Twenty-five college students will 
be awarded complimentary "Main Conference" passes to the 2008 Game 
Developers Conference.

Students can apply online:
http://www.igda.org/scholarships/


Recipients will be announced mid January. Applicants are required to 
be full-time college students (or equivalent) and IGDA student 
members for consideration. Scholarship applications will be judged by 
a panel of professional game developers.

Scholarship recipients will also get to take a tour of a local game 
development studio, as well as get paired with an industry mentor during GDC.
