Overview: This role is responsible for developing the course curriculum for and teaching "Applied Math & Logic" within a Game Production Degree Program. Core concepts will include linear algebra, trigonometry, propositional logic, applied physics, and motion. This course should provide a fundamental understanding of basic analytical mathematics used to create simple 2D games. The instructor for this class needs the ability to communicate these subjects in a creative and straightforward manner while demonstrating how the topics are applicable to game development (collision detection, object motion, gravity, etc.)

Responsibilities:
Developing Applied Math & Logic course curriculum
Teaching the Applied Math & Logic courses on a part-time basis
Course management including the development of materials, assessments, student counseling, data management, scheduling, and other academic activities
Participation in campus activities, including a monthly open house, special interest groups, and other duties as assigned by the Program Director
This is a part-time position
Skills / Requirements

Experience Required:
Teaching experience
4 years related professional work experience
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Masters preferred

Skills Required:

Possess both theoretical and practical knowledge of applied mathematics
Excellent presentation and communication abilities
A high degree of enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a willingness to mentor students
Competency with PowerPoint/Keynote, MS Office, Windows
