I have recently accepted a gig with LOLapps.com, makers of Facebook
games. I'm presently looking for entry level coders and am also
starting work on an internship program, also for coders. Please

Web Developer - Entry Level

If you are a recent CS grad, we would love to talk to you if you have
been coding for fun.  Most all of our engineers have side projects
that may include FB or mobile apps or contributions to open source
projects.  If all you have to show is your school projects,  you are
probably not passionate enough about coding for this position.


 Responsibilities

•Design and implement large chunks of the product roadmap - Yes, you
will be writing code that will be viewed  by millions in your first
month on the job.
•Work with product management to break down high level goals into
tasks and timelines.  Do you have product ideas, we would love for you
to contribute so you can see your ideas turn into products.

Requirements
•Care more about the company and your group's goals rather than personal glory
•Desire and ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies
•1+ years of experience as a software engineer
•Appreciate owning a full spectrum of responsibilities from backend
(SQL, memcache, etc) to frontend (JavaScript, FBML, FBJS)
•Interested in using / learning Python
•Detail-oriented: When someone sends you an email about something it
auto-magically gets handled with no need for a follow-up
•Interested in working in the social networking space
•Comfortable working in an environment where ideas are thought of,
described, and executed within a span of hours to days

Desired Qualifications
•Computer science or equivalent degree from a top computer science program
•1+ year working on a consumer facing web product with a high level of scale
•Strong product sense
•You write software for fun. You've worked on projects of your own
outside of school or work
•Entrepreneurial



Flash Developer - Entry Level
We are hiring recent grads for this position or engineers with just a
year of experience, but you must have personal projects to show (flash
games, fb games or other cool stuff)

Responsibilities
•Work with product management to break down high level goals into
tasks and timelines
•Design and implement large chunks of the product roadmap
•Work with the programming team to develop new features and improvements
•Assist in the sharing of ideas and exploration of new practices to
continually improve the quality of game development within the company

Requirements
•Excel as a team member and strive to maximize team and departmental
performance
•Desire and ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies
•Interested in working on projects that range from Front-end to Back-end
•Detail-oriented: When someone sends you an email about something it
auto-magically gets handled with no need for a follow-up
•Interested in working in the social games space
•Comfortable working in an environment where ideas are thought of,
described, and executed within a span of hours to days

Desired Qualifications
•Computer science or equivalent degree from a top computer science program
•1+ year working on Flash games
•Strong gamer instincts
•You enjoy playing social games
•You write software for fun. You've worked on projects of your own
outside of school or work
