Emagination Computer Camps is currently seeking a Program Director for our
specialty program for teenagers, Emagination Game Design.

 

A summer at Emagination Game Design is an excellent opportunity for game
design and development professionals to reinforce technical, creative and
leadership skills while networking with industry professionals in Boston,
Atlanta and Los Angeles.   

 

Emagination Game Design is an intensive and fun summer camp that teaches
teenagers how to work on a game development team to design and build a 3D
video game. Teens learn the key technical and creative components of video
game design including level design and function, the creation of 3D
characters, lighting, sound effects and programming using industry standard
software including 3ds MaxR and MayaR from Autodesk; Adobe PhotoshopR; and
Unreal Engine 3 from Epic Games.  Additional activities include a tour of a
game design studio each session, guest speakers and recreational activities.
Each session concludes with campers presenting their games to a panel of
industry experts from the local area.  

 

The Program Director is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the
Emagination Game Design program. You will guide a team of instructors as
they deliver the curriculum and you will contribute to classroom instruction
and assist in managing the student teams as they build their game. In
addition, the Program Director is responsible for managing student and staff
behavior, coordinating the tour of a game company and hosting evening
speakers and our expert panel on the last day of the program. You should
have prior involvement in a game design/development project, prior
administrative experience and experience working with students.
