Hello Casey,
I wanted to share that DigiPen Institute of Technology has been offering
our ProjectFun Workshops for students in grades 5 and higher for the
past 18 years and our college was ranked amongst the top 5 for the past
two years in the Princeton Review for best colleges to attend for Game
Development. Participants have the option of learning about:
- Video Game Programming
- Multimedia Production
- Engineering, or
- Game Design.
The workshops are two weeks in length and also include the following
highlights:
* *ProjectFUN Instructors* are DigiPen undergraduates with a passion
for the interactive media and entertainment industries. Many
instructors are former ProjectFUN students themselves!
* *Lunch and snacks* are provided daily to all Summer Workshop
participants at DigiPen’s Bits & Bytes Café. All meals are peanut-free.
* *After-Workshop activities* are offered from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. most
days. Activities include industry speakers, video game tournaments,
and a family cook-out.
* *A Final Showcase* on the last Friday of each session gives students
the chance to show off their projects to the friends, family, and
peers.
You can find more details and costs at
https://projectfun.digipen.edu/summer-workshops/ or if you have any
questions, feel free to send them my way.
Best regards,
*Ms. Angela Kugler*
