Unity for Programmers - March 24-25, San Francisco (South Park Sandbox
Suites)
Unity
for Programmers is an intermediate to advanced two day Unity
development course intended for programmers (regardless of language)
with experience developing games and/or apps on non-Unity platforms.
Topics include: Supported languages and limitations, blended coding
opportunities, Unity development paradigm (GameObject-Component
relationship), common development tasks applied in Unity, editor
scripting, Unity-specific tricks and shortcuts.
Duration: 2 days
Requirements: Programming knowledge and experience developing games and/or
interactive applications
Equipment: Laptop required or provided for a fee
Location: A location of your choice
Goal(s):
- Employ the Unity IDE to construct a simple 3D application or game.
- Evaluate the usefulness of Unity for your next development project.
- Demonstrate Unity aptitude in future.
