[game_edu] Part Time Teaching Opportunity

The Department of Visual and Performing Arts seeks candidates for part-time teaching assignments to teach entry level courses in the Game Design and Development Program and an introductory 3D animation course for the program in Interactive Digital Design. Classes begin January 22, 2013 and continue through the exam period May 11th, 2013.

Teaching assignments include Introduction to Game Design which meets Mondays 6–8:30 pm; Introduction to Visual Design for Games which meets Wednesday 6:00–8:30 pm.; 3D Animation I which meets Wednesday 6:30–9 pm.

Candidates interested in Introduction to Game Design should have game design experience. Those interested in Introduction to Visual Design for Games ideally would have a background in design with a knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and 3D applications such as Maya. Candidates interested in 3D Animation I should have a background in 3D modeling and animation using MAYA.
