[game_edu] Metagame reboot on Kickstarter

Apologies for a moment of self-promotion.

Local No. 12 (Colleen Macklin, Eric Zimmerman and I) have launched a Kickstarter campaign for a reboot of the Metagame:

The Metagame is a card game about everything: comics and literature, fine art and TV, architecture and videogames. It's a way to show off your cultural smarts and get into ridiculous arguments with your friends. It is also a game system: many different games can be played with one deck.

You may have seen the videogame-only version of the game, played as a massively multiplayer card game at conferences and sold at the Museum of Modern Art's Design Store. But this new Metagame takes things to a whole new level. It's not just about games: playing the Metagame, you will discuss Shakespeare and Ms Pac-Man; the Rubik's Cube and the Daily Show; Michael Jackson and Jackson Pollock. 
 
It's a hell of a lot of fun to play. And the only way to get the Metagame is through our Kickstarter campaign. So visit the page and spread the word. It's only through your help that we'll be able to print the Metagame and share it with the world.
