ACM Interactive Tabletops and Surfaces (ITS) 2015

ACM ITS is the premier venue for research in the design, development and use of new and emerging interactive surface technologies. ACM ITS 2015 welcomes original, high-quality research and industry contributions that advance the state-of-the-art in the area of interactive surfaces (including tabletops, large displays, mobile, and mini devices). The conference embraces innovations in a wide variety of areas including design, software, hardware, understanding of use, and applications or deployments of interactive surfaces. This year’s event will be held at the Vidamar Resort Madeira hotel on the wonderful island of Madeira in Portugal.

Call for Submissions: Student Volunteer T-Shirt Design

This is a reminder that the SV t-shirt contest deadline is on August 17th. If you win, you get a guaranteed SV spot! If you are already an SV, you will get an additional spot so you can bring another student along.

The winning design will be worn by all student volunteers to make them noticeable to all attendees at the conference. Here are the t-shirt design details and information:

 * Send your t-shirt design by email to sv at its2015.org until August 17, 2015!

 * The fabric should have a noticeable color (e.g. not white or gray) and the design should be clearly visible from across the room

 * You should include the ITS logo (http://its2015.org/authors/downloads/). You may draw inspiration from the island of Madeira (e.g., Santana houses, carros de cesto, bird of paradise flower, and cabo Girão).

 * Please convert the text to paths/curves/outlines (or embed the fonts). Do not use color halftones. Use a minimum line width of 1.5pt (or 2pt for reverse print) and font sizes need to be larger than 15pt.

 * Please submit both a PDF and a source (AI or EPS, vector) file.
