Join the revolution this August at a game-based learning event in the
country’s largest and most dynamic metropolitan region while attending
Broadway, world class museums, and other cultural sites join us at
Revolutionary Learning 2016 Inspiration and Collaboration through Games
August 17-19 in New York City. There will be a professionally judged onsite
Game Jam moderated by Eric Zimmerman, a Revolutionary New York Game Arcade
featuring three world class universities: NYU, RIT & RPI, a book exhibit,
roundtable discussions on games and learning topics, and numerous
networking opportunities. Sessions include a panel discussion with
education reporter Grey Toppo from USA Today and top learning scientists on
the effectiveness of games in learning including Michael Levine from the
renowned Sesame Workshop. We have a unique transatlantic presence featuring
game entrepreneur Ian Livingstone, Coventry University’s Disruptive Media
Lab, and Founding Director of The Serious Games Institute and CEO of
GAETES, David Wortley. The pioneering Quest to Learn school will show case
and demonstrate its work, and many other distinguished game designers and
educators will lead hands on, interactive sessions on best practices in
