[game_edu] Principal Academic in Games Design and Development position at Bournemouth University, UK

The Department of Creative Technology, within the Faculty of Science and Technology at Bournemouth University, is seeking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and motivated Principal Academic in the area of games design and/or development.

You will have a strong research profile showing potential for contribution towards the next Research Excellence Framework exercise, evidence of successful national and international research grant awards and also enterprise funding, leadership experience of research groups or equivalent, experience in supervising undergraduate/postgraduate/doctorate students, experience in managing post-award research projects, strong evidence of collaboration and engagement with the national/international games industry and, finally, leadership experience in the design and delivery of taught Higher Education courses.

Applications with expertise in one (or more) of the following areas; mobile games development, 3D modelling and animation for games, game design, artificial intelligence in games, graphics programming and UX/HCI for games are particularly welcome.
