Hi There,

This is just to let you know of a new book called "A Beginner's Guide to
Web and Mobile Games <https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071YXGR1C/>". This book
explains how to create a simple infinite runner and to export it to the
web and Android devices; it also explains how to publish the game on
Google Play.

This is the fourth book in a series called "A Beginner's Guide" that will
focus on specific features and skills necessary to develop games with Unity
(e.g., 2D, Artificial Intelligence or AR/VR).

This book series follows the previous series called Unity from Zero to
Proficiency <https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M7PSHUO/>, where readers learn
core skills to become comfortable with Unity's Interface and programming,
and to also create a 3D First-Person Shooter with indoor and outdoor scenes
from scratch, using both JavaScript and C#.

I have been liaising with several teachers who have used one or all of the
books in the series "Unity from Zero to Proficiency
<https://www.amazon.com/Unity-Proficiency-Foundations-step-step-ebook/dp/B016YF7OKS/>"
in the past months; many found these books very useful to introduce
programming concepts, to motivate students to develop their coding skills
and to create a game from scratch, as many teachers found the instructions
quite detailed and step-by-step; as their students managed to reach good
levels of proficiency with Unity, they also wanted to find a resource to
also create (in addition to 3D games) simple 2D games, or to improve some
areas of the games that they had managed to create so far (e.g.,
Artificial Intelligence).

So this the reason for this new book series; the idea is to help the
readers to focus on (and improve) a specific aspect of their game
development with Unity, and hopefully it might be helpful to some of your
students too.

This first book in the new series (i.e., A Beginner's Guide to 2D Platform
Games
<https://www.amazon.com/Beginners-Guide-Platform-Games-Unity-ebook/dp/B01MXWPTJ9>)
focuses on creating a simple 2D platform game with Unity, using C#.

This second book in the new series (i.e., A Beginner's Guide to 2D Shooter
Games
<https://www.amazon.com/Beginners-Guide-Shooter-Games-Unity-ebook/dp/B01MYCQ1PM/>)
focuses on creating a simple 2D shooter game with Unity, using C#.

This third book in the new series (i.e., A Beginner's Guide to 2D Puzzle
Games <https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XQR7SD4>) focuses on creating simple 2D
Puzzle games with Unity, using C#.

This fourth book in the new series (i.e., A Beginner's Guide to Web and
Mobile Games <https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071YXGR1C/>) focuses on creating a
simple infinite runner with Unity (using C#) and on exporting and
publishing this game to the web and Android devices.

There are *12 free evaluation copies up for grabs* for this book
<https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071YXGR1C/>, on a first-come, first-served
