I have access to a variety of children using Assistive Technology here in 
Mobile.
I am one of four members of the local school system's Assistive Technology 
Team.

For the last 26 years, I have worked with children of all ages, grades, in 
all subject areas, and with a wide variety of disabilities.  In fact I started 
using Assistive Technology in its crudest form 20 years ago with a homemade 
switch, a battery interupter, and a tape recorder.

I have several courses to left to finish a MA degree in Assistive Technology 
from Fort Hays State University in Kansas.  I decided to discontinue the 
master's degree because it would not benefit me financially in my current job and I 
have a child with Lyme disease who requires assistance in her academic 
endeavors.
