Ha! Good fun. Fruit and Veg orchestra would be just the sort of game I'd like to play... I must dig out my 1996 Playstation interface that used crocodile clips to see if that will work in a similar way, whilst waiting for a MaKey MaKey.

Hi Barrie

I played with Makey Makey at the TEI conference this year and I was really impressed by it. Here's a little video of me playing garage band using a banana and a pair of apples as bongos:

I ordered 10 kits for my interaction design class. ;-)

MaKey MaKey is a PCB board that allows you to make touch controls out of anything that can conduct a little electricity. Such as bananas, Play-doh, water and so on.

  The accessibility possibilities are huge.

The ability to cut costs in devices is huge (e.g. - $35 / £25 for the MaKey - a bit more for crocodile clips - then a beach ball for a humongous switch.

Via an Ultimarc iPac, it's possible that this will work beyond PC/Mac, and maybe on most consoles too with the right adapters. I'm hopeful.

  Barrie
