What a great list of resources in response to my request for 
information.  I'll need time to digest it all, and to investigate all 
the links.

You've been a great help.  I know at least one k-12 game development 
program is now both in shock and simultaneously excited.  Their thinking 
about who can be a game developer/designer has been significantly expanded.

I'll be back to you when I have more questions
