Hi Jacob,

Yes the discussions so far have included VHF/UHF contesting.

To expand a bit on this ... the specific mechanisms and facilities for
as many types of contest as possible have been part of the discussion -
this is perhaps as one would expect if designing "an insanely great"
mac contest logger (to use Don's words) [as opposed to a logger aimed
at specific limited interests]. However there is a difference between
the engine house of a piece of software being designed to cope with
something at some point and the sorts of contest event which would be
supported at any given time - as with virtually every other contest
logger I know, the contests supported grow in number as the software
matures. Hence I would caution about expectations on day one.

However, it seems as if since my last posting to this list which was an
attempt to get some positive support for a comprehensive OSX native
contest logger, I am increasingly sceptical that we will ever get to
that day one. I believe there is general agreement about there being
a gap in the market for a top flight MacLogger Contest package along
the lines that has been outlined. However I am unsure that this list
contains the audience that will ever form sufficient consensus to allow
such a project to get going. We will see.
