[PAGID] Re- Hyper IgE syndrome

Hello 

 

I would appreciate your opinion on the following patients

 

 

I am following a brother (12years old) and a sister (6years old) with
clinical features of hyper IgE syndrome likely the autosomal recessive type,
rec. skin infections, ear infections, bad dermatitis, Rec. herpetic
infections, elevated IgE, no skeletal or dental problems no pneumatocele, ,
they are on regular IVIG, prophylactic antibiotics, antiviral and
antifungal. They both have HLA-matched sibling donor.

 

 

Would you transplant these patients?

 

Literature is not conclusive
