Apply today for the CIS Primary Immunodeficiency Disorders Summer School!
November 2-6, 2006
Miami, Florida, USA

Application deadline: August 4, 2006

The School is geared toward fellows in training, with a primary goal of education in the diagnosis, pathogenesis, and treatment of primary immunodeficiency diseases. The secondary goals of the Summer School are to attract and develop future scientists in academic medicine and to enhance the awareness of clinical immunology and its importance in scientific discoveries and clinical applications. This program encourages student interaction with faculty and thought leaders in immunology in a casual and intimate setting.
Participants should be within their last years of fellowship training or first years of academic appointments and may hold an MD or equivalent: selected candidates with a PhD and intent to concentrate their studies on these diseases may also apply. Candidates may have a background in immunology, allergy/immunology, infectious diseases, internal medicine, rheumatology, hematology, or laboratory immunology.
CIS plans to accept 32 applicants for the 2006 Summer School program. All participants will be provided with travel grants that cover airfare, hotel, and meal expenses.
Apply today for this unique experience at www.clinimmsoc.org. Applications must be submitted by August 4 and selected applicants will be notified by September 5. Selected participants are also required to become a CIS member. For more information on membership please visit www.clinimmsoc.org.
If you have any questions, please contact Michelle Roach at the CIS office at +1-414-224-8095 or mroach at clinimmsoc.org.
Please pass this information to your colleagues and fellows in training.
