I have cared for a 24 yo boy with CGD for more than 22 years. He has a
distant history of aspergillus pneumonia and ongoing problems with
colitis. He has been treated in the past with WBC transfusions during
his acute aspergillus and around surgeries. He now presents with several
deeply impacted wisdom teeth and two severely carious teeth than need
extraction. The OMF surgeon usually treats patients who have severely
impacted wisdom teeth with a short course of glucocorticoids post op for
inflammation. My questions are:

1. Perioperative antimicrobial therapy? What drug?
2. Granulocyte transfusion therapy?

Any other experiences/comments would be appreciated.
