Dear Colleagues,

 

Even though BCG vaccination is strongly discouraged in most PID patients, almost 5-out-of-6 newborns worldwide are still BCG-vaccinated shortly after birth. This preventable complication is the usual picture most immunologists working away from North America, Western Europe and Australia have to face at SCID diagnosis. The aim of this questionnaire is to gather the available information and experience regarding a devastating complication in these patients, post-vaccinal Bacille Calmette-Guérin (BCG) infection.
