[CIS-PAGID] Selective IgM deficiency

I think there is very little IgM or IgA in most currently marketed products, and suspect the problem is much more likely due to something else. What are her reactions like and what is like between infusions- do her sed rate or CRP suggest any ongoing chronic problems- infectious or autoimmune ?

Subject: [CIS-PAGID] Selective IgM deficiency

Colleagues:

I have just consulted on an woman with IgM deficiency (< 5 mg/dL) and selective antibody deficiency.

She has significant reactions to her Ig infusions, even SC.

Has anyone heard of IgG anti-IgM antibodies causing reactions to Ig infusions?

Is there any way to measure such antibodies?
