Joe,
I believe that there have been IgG rheumatoid factors with specificity for IgM. If she has no measurable IgM it is hard to see how this specific antibody would be the cause of the problem. There is not much IgM in IGSC. In the old days when Ig protein chemistry was popular, this would have been easy to answer with an IgM myeloma protein on a solid matrix. You might do an immune complex assay. Have you tried daily push?

Colleagues:

I have just consulted on an woman with IgM deficiency (< 5 mg/dL) and selective antibody deficiency.

She has significant reactions to her Ig infusions, even SC.

Has anyone heard of IgG anti-IgM antibodies causing reactions to Ig infusions?

Is there any way to measure such antibodies?
