If the HLA lab only performs molecular testing a transplant lab can run a flow cross match or anti HLA flow since you have the child's HLA typing a bare lymphocyte patient will not stain and lab should notify you there is a problem

Most labs have stopped old fashioned cytotoxicity HLA typing since transplanters no longer use serological typing
