Hi Juan Carlos,
NZ changed to IPV some years ago after a tragic case of VAPP in a mother of a child given the OPV.

Dear Juan Carlos, good afternoon
Here in Brazil we give inactivated polio vaccines (Salk) for any hypogammaglobulinemic patient (agammas or even "CVIDs") after diagnosis.
A few years ago we looked for persistence of vaccine poliovirus in our hypogammaglobulinemic patients, a few of these patients presented persistent fecal production of virus, but fortunately we didn't find any patient with encephalitis or paralitic disease. The main author of this work is Jorge Andrade Pinto, from UFMG.
All the best,
Dewton

Dear Doctors,
In Peru we continue giving oral polio vaccine. We have a few patients with vaccine-associated paralytic poliomyelitis (some of them with agammaglobulinemia). Do you have any information of what should be the posterior vaccine schedule in these patients?
Thank you very much,
