[CIS PIDD] [cis-pidd] SubQ first dose

Recently, we had two IGSC-experienced kids who needed to change from one
SubQ product to another. I thought they could do it at home under
supervision of a nurse together with explanation of the different pump, but
the manufacturer strongly recommended giving the first dose in the clinic...
which we then did. Never had any complications with IGSC.
Yours,
Markus

Question to all

It has been our tradition to always give a first dose of any new
immunoglobulin product under medical supervision (i.e. not at home). I
wonder how many people do that for subcutaneous products though. I think
the risk of a reaction that needs medical attention is very low.

What do all of you do?
