[CIS PIDD] [cis-pidd] Immunodeficiency post-Fontan procedure

Colleagues:

Protein losing enteropathy s/p Fontan procedure for hypoplastic left heart may result in severe hypogammaglobulinemia and T-lymphopenia.

Are these patients clinically immunocompromised?  i.e. do they experience opportunistic infections?
