Beware of Hidradenitis suppurativa. There are apocrine glands around the nipple and I have seen it as "chest" infections and axillae of course.

Hi Joe, best to you and yours, Andy

Colleagues:

I was 'curbside' consulted on a now 21yo F.

She was well until 20yo when she developed an anterior chest wall abscess with MSSA. Subsequently the has had bilateral axillary adenitis with abscesses that required I&D x4 all MSSA. No other signs or symptoms.

Her IgG was borderline at 650; Pneumovax response was positive to 6 of 14 serotypes; DHR was normal; IgE was 11.

Suggestions?
