[CIS PIDD] [cis-pidd] Rubella in cutaneous granulomas

A manuscript describing the finding of rubella virus in cutaneous granolomas in immune deficient patients was brought to my attention by Stanley Plotkin, the inventor of the rubella vaccine.  He is interested in establishing collaborations with clinicians who have immune deficient patients with cutaneous granulomas.  He has set up a testing strategy at the CDC and would like to hear from anyone interested in collaborating on a study of rubella PCR and antigen in cutaneous granulomas.  If you have patients such as this and are interested in collaborating, please respond.
