[CIS PIDD] [cis-pidd] IUD placement in CVID patients

I’ve also never seen a complication in several patients that made us aware of an IUD.  Agree with Charlotte – no idea of the denominator.

Never had any problem on this,  but I have no idea what the denominator is.

I would not make that recommendation as I have nothing to suggest it is not ok.

Hi all,

Would you let CVID patients have an intrauterine device placement? A question came up and we recommended that they use other methods of contraception. I was just wondering if anyone has experience with CVID patients having an IUD and if there were infectious or other complications associated with it.
