Dear Colleagues

I am following a 19 month old boy with AT who was diagnosed following a work-up for low TRECs on newborn screen. He was started on IVIG because he had not responded to his tetanus immunization.

He is currently doing well although already has an abnormal gait.

There has been some discussion about the need to continue his monthly IVIG.

I wonder if he is protected against infections in this way might we expect that he would have less overall morbidity and slower deterioration.

Any experience from others?

Sincerely

Peter
