[CIS PIDD] [cis-pidd] Clinical Immunologists in Chicago Area?

We have a very active primary immunodeficiency program and  manage a very large cohort of CVID patients (kids and adults). We regularly see patients from Chicago and would be happy to see her.

    The allergists/immunologists there are fairly peds-focused, but do see adults here and there.  I would recommend either Dr. Nana Fenny (nfenny at peds.bsd.uchicago.edu   (773) 834-4010) or Dr. Christina Ciaccio (cciaccio at peds.bsd.uchicago.edu   (773) 834-4010).  Dr. Ciaccio is a CIS member.  I am sure you could reach out to her directly to see if this would be an appropriate patient for her (or her colleagues) to see.

    Alternatively, there are people in Northwestern  (ahem!!).

    Hello everyone,

    There is a 19 y.o. young woman with history of hypogammaglobulinemia and specific antibody deficiency on IVIG who is looking for clinical immunologist in the Chicago area.

    Suggestions?

    She actually lives and attends college in Chicago.  She scheduled an appointment to establish care with me (Minneapolis, MN) because she was unaware of adult immunologist in her area.  Apparently seen at pediatric institution there but was told she must transfer care elsewhere now that she is 19.

    I am happy to see her but would make much more sense for her if she could establish care with immunologist near her.
