Big changes from Apple for those who want to get WEA Test messages… You have to download a profile using a support site – it’s no longer the special “phone number.” In addition, you can disable the warning sound for all alerts (test or not) if your phone is muted. The default is to alert you regardless of phone settings, but if you turn this switch off it will honor your sound choice. That’s under Settings / Emergency Alerts / Always Play Sound.
