[sbe-eas] Question about Maryland IPAWS alert from Saturday June 1

I see WEA in the IPAWS message itself that we received. I do not believe anyone got it as WEA. I did hear that WBAL sent the blue alert as EAS, for someone up that way said that they received it from them. I do not know if anyone else forwarded it. I do know our news department did not get any information about the alert from another source.
I am looking at the distribution problem and how to solve it. Does the sending agency need to listen, or have someone else listen, for the alert on air? I would think they would have received it on their phone if it went out. Is the problem because it is a newer event code? Would another event code have gotten more response? Was it something about equipment, or how it was sent? In order to find a fix, I like to ask questions, because others can help us find a better solution.
Thanks for your help.

A Maryland EM posted on X that she did not receive a WEA.
Are you asking if a WEA was sent or saying you confirmed it was sent as a WEA?

A question for Maryland and DC area broadcasters about a Maryland IPAWS alert on Saturday June 1 at 10:32 AM.
Maryland State Police issued a Blue Alert code. My station received it and rejected it as an invalid digital signature. It did not appear on warn.pbs.org.
My question is - how many people got it? Did anyone air it? Did anyone receive it via WEA? As WEA was included in the IPAWS alert sent.
It was sent to all Maryland. It was for something that happened in or near Chevy Chase.
Anyway, so it does not fail again, I am asking if anyone at all received and forwarded it?
Thanks for the help.
