[SBE] SBE Awards nomination deadline extended

SBE Awards Chairman, Larry Wilkins, CPBE AMD CBNT announced today that the
deadline for nominations for the SBE National Awards has been extended
through Friday, June 8. Nominations may be submitted to the SBE National
Office using the official nomination form. The form is attached. 

 

There are many deserving members of SBE as well as chapter activities from
2006 that deserve our recognition. If you know of a member who has provided
outstanding service to the Society (chapters or national) or has made an
outstanding contribution to the field of broadcast engineering please
consider nominating them for the Engineer of the Year or Educator of the
Year Award. Also, if your chapter newsletter or website has been first-rate,
or your chapter's frequency coordination effort has been outstanding, or
your chapter has done a great job of relating to other industry related
organizations or the community, nominate them. It can take as little as ten
minutes to prepare and send the nomination via e-mail or fax.  

 

Winners will be recognized during the SBE National Meeting this October 11
at the SBE National Awards Dinner in Pittsburgh, Pa. Thank you in advance
for taking a few minutes to nominate that deserving chapter member or
members, or chapter activity.
