Some more info on the Wecast:

The problem with the delivery was between the studio and the distibution through Jetcast, not with Jetcast itself. I am told that when the program started, the pipe between them was at 96% capacity of the 760k path. Then it dropped to 56%. We are still trying to figure out what bogged the path.

The loop that was being played was recorded at Jetcast, so it contained all the transmission difficulties. For now, the loop has been suspended. We also recorded the event at the Azcar studios, and that clean copy will be distributed through Jetcast once it is encoded, which should be Friday at the latest.

The program will then be played continuously for the following week.

The browser compatibility issue:
When I tested a stream, I did not have to install a plug-in with IE, so I apparently already had it. Hindsight is 20/20, so that's another lesson we learned.

Also, there is a help file for installing the player with Firefox. It's under the HELP button on the Jetcast website.
