I have to respond to this one. 

Simply put and very true.

I knew times were changing in the mid-90's when I could not longer get a
test equipment budget and tech training disappeared.

Want to talk to management?  Tell them how you can save money, cut staff, do

more with less.  Maybe they won't replace you with a traveling band of gypsy

engineers on the road 24/7 serving 100+ stations.
