A few do, but Schools have become baby sitters and monoliths to grand
building plans and not about education of what goes inside. The local school spend
huge millions for a new site, buildings, athletic fields "because the old HS
was too expensive to keep up." Sure enough, the too expensive to keep up HS
because the middle school, after another $15 mil bond issue. But the education
programs didn't improve one bit. Kids still "graduate" unable to read, write,
spell, add their own time card, count change, little if any knowledge of
history, civics, and the debate is if they should be allowed to use a calculator on
state required exams ... for 5th grade! Maybe YouTube is the next
"broadcasting."
