[SBE] Final Cut Pro CC issue

There is a feature in Avid that allows for it.  But since I don't shop
for NLE's at Goodwill, I couldn't tell you.

Is there a "fix" so that FCP doesn't obliterate line 21 CC when editing
using 
a transition other than "cut?"  Do all NLE's have this problem of not 
preserving line 21 during effects?
