[SBE] Dry Snow

I dont know Vegas that well, but if the mountain you are referring to is the distant peak you see when driving North from Henderson to Vegas, then that snow was quite visible to the naked eye, and seemed to me to be more snow than I recall seeing 5 years ago when I made the same daily drive.   
 
Global warming my ass.  These guys need to be sued for fraud.  We have now been told, in each of the past two years, that we would have record hurricane seasons because of GW.  And what did we have,,hurricane seasons that were LESS active than the period prior to Katrina.
 
My favorite indicator that GW is a big hoax to level the playing field of the world economy by driving the USA into bankruptcy occurs on a weekly basis.  Have you noticed how many 'extinct' or new species are being found each week.  They always note how such and such has not been seen for 100 years.  But, because global warming is ruining its habitat, now the poor little critter is having to find a new home and that's why we stumbled across it.  Well gee Mr. Science guy, I guess that means it was not extinct after all!!!  So one or both of two things happened, natural cycles are causing the reappearance of some species, in which GW is just that, a natural cycle, or, more likely, the scientists were wrong,,,the creature was not extinct and we had not ruined its habitat in the first place.  If they can miss the existence of a creature for 100 years, how can we trust them to be any more accurate on other natural science questions such as GW?
 
Today brings us the little jewel that this past winter was, on avg., cooler than any winter since 2001...but, drum roll please, they had to say it was still warmer than avg. because of global warming.  Yeah, let me see, its cooler, but its warmer.  As my high school honors history teacher said,,,figures don't lie, but liars figure.  There is no global warming.  Sue Al Gore as the founder of the Weather Channel has proposed.  This is why our economy is nuts, not Iraq.
Now let me go mash some corn and waste 1000 gallons of water so I can make a gallon of bio fuel.  We aint planting any more wheat, and the corn in my fields is not for you to eat.  Going green is only green for those who get the green of going green while the world's bread basket shrivels.   Be sure you don't step in the run off from Al's zinc mines when you visit Tennessee.
