Henry, who do you use as a source for the LED 'headlamps'?

We are building a new news room and new HD MCR. We are using LED
fixtures for
general lighting and fluorescents for a few fixtures in the rack isles.
We
estimated a savings of 19 KW/hr with the LED's using 14 watts each vs
160w per
4 tube fluorescent 24/7. @ 10.8 cents / kwh, it will make a difference.
Several years ago we went from 40 watt 4' to 30 watt 4' tubes for office
lighting
with no noticeable change in light level. I noted a lot of LED studio
light
fixtures at NAB this year. We're dumping our quartz headlamps on the
cameras for
LED models. 26 watts of bulb eats a lot of battery time.
