[SBE] A new member benefit

The SBE Roundtable was created as a tool for SBE members to interact with one another and share ideas and discuss matters about the SBE. It has also served as a technical assistance forum. The intent of the list was to provide a professional outlet for these purposes. The Roundtable is like an ongoing SBE meeting. If the topic strays too far from the purpose of the list, the discussion is asked to be moved elsewhere. Just like a private discussion at an SBE meeting would be asked to take it to the lobby.

Since its creation, there have been requests to use the Roundtable for more social uses. At the same time, many Roundtable subscribers have enjoyed the list's purpose to provide a professional forum. In an effort to keep the Roundtable on-topic and on-focus, an additional e-mail list has been created for SBE members. This new list is suited for social use. Topics on any subject are allowed as long as the discussion maintains proper decorum.
