[SBE] Loose Circuit Board

Hello Frank !

Please try the contact treating chemicals from Caig Labs.

"Pro-Gold" is my favorite -- best PC card, switch, and similar contact
cleaner, lubricant, and preservative I've ever used. In the years I've used
it, it's never damaged any plastic.

Caig also sells DeoxIT F5 and PreserveIT P5. They, too, work great!

I have no connection with or any interest in the Caig company.

Subject: [SBE] Loose Circuit Board

Hello All,

I think we can still post technical questions here, right? I know SBE
has started a social list, but my question is technical.

I have a Sony UVW-1800 that will intermittently lose the component
input. I can solve the problem by reseating the circuit cards that are
located parallel to the backplane. Is there something I can spray on the
cards, or do to the card edges that will allow them to stay connected
better? The deck is in an edit room and is not moved around.

Thanks everyone for listening.
