[SBE] activating inactives

The RF Safety Seminar is a good start. However, it is only available as a group event through local chapters. I'd like to take the course, but every time I see an announcement, it is a group event only which hasn't been offered locally (and yes, I have asked the local chapter to sponsor a seminar).

If SBE is to offer on line courses, they need to be made available to individuals and not as group only events. On demand is not necessary; a simulcast similar to the National Meeting held last year is acceptable. Some members, as already pointed out, don't have local chapters near them. In other cases, there appears to be no interest in sponsoring a group event.

Certainly an idea for chapters to arrange. Webex or a similar tech could make this possible.

National
The RF Safety seminar is already offered, and the SBE Education Committee is developing several new presentations. I expect we'll have an updat on thee very soon.
