I am not going to get into any dialog about how Chriss does or does not admin the list.

I will however say that the existence of this list, the ARRL chats mentioned earlier and our broadcasting legacy the world over are due in full to the liberty that we celebrate today. What we enjoy in engineering of broadcasts would not be possible without those who gave their all for us this day, and those continue to give their freedom in defense of ours. Unlike other holidays, it is appropriate to say a Happy 4th of July on a radio industry board because this is a day and a concept of liberty, freedom and civil rights that is not and may never be celebrated anywhere else in the world. Perhaps it would be acceptable on this list to say Happy Birthday to Broadcast Radio, for our liberty makes what we are known for possible. American by birth, continued by choice and damn proud of the freedom to broadcast my opinion without fear of disappearing in the night.Edwin Bukont CSRE, DRB, CBNT Comm-Struction and Services LLC P.O.
