[SBE] FW: Block and tackle question

I would hire an experienced tower crew, be sure their insurance is up to date and sufficient. If you really want to do it yourself, the proper size hoisting capstan is the correct tool. This powered device requires a certain skill level to operate safely.

he said it was heliax not hard line. and the hoisting kits supplied provide
for that as needed. 120' is not an issue for 1 5/8" line. I've
pulled up to
200' with just the end hoisting grip. I have two 600' runs on a tower
that the
crew put in with only an end grip and a big winch as it rolled off the spool
handlers just made sure it didn't get snagged or bent.
