[SBE] New (to us) GVG 3000 switcher

Hi everyone,

I'm the lone engineer at the Napa Valley College TV studio. If you
aren't aware of the program, we teach broadcast TV engineering, although
it used to be called the telecommunications program. The college
graduated its first engineers back in 1973.

We recently purchased a used GVG 3000 3-M/E switcher to replace our old
GVG 1600 unit. We've got a facility carpenter planning out a new console
for the newer switcher and it would help him if he could see what it
would look like installed.

I've looked and found a few images on the net but most of them don't
show the switcher well enough to be useful. I'm wondering if anyone has
any pictures of this switcher installed, preferably with the upper
control panel installed mostly upright. If you do I would appreciate
seeing them.

Thanks,
Brian Hughes, CBTE

P.S. We rely a lot on equipment donations and thanks to some recent
donations we are overhauling the studio. Our storage area was overfull
with items we set aside during this overhaul. Sadly, a contractor
working on a fire main flooded (3 ft) the building where our items were
stored. While there was a lot of old obsolete equipment in there, we
lost a lot of working and useful items. We lost two HD camera systems,
some video server equipment and much of our spares. Maybe the worst
loss, old historical tapes from the program.
